  1. This is my first time hearing about veganmofo, and I’m trying to understand all of the intricacies involved by looking through this site. I’m still a bit confused (which is nothing new). How do these themes listed above relate to our blog posts for the month of September? Sorry if I’m the only one who doesn’t know…

    1. Hi Robin! As Crystal said themes are totally optional. Some bloggers find it easier or more fun to pick a theme and blog about that for the whole month. Other bloggers find that idea stressful! If you’d like to blog during VeganMoFo you just need to sign up (with or without a theme!) and try to blog at least 20 times during September. I hope that helps! Please feel free to drop us an e-mail (link in the FAQ’s) if you have any more questons we can answer.

  2. Robin, hey there! Welcome! Vegan MoFo is a month where bloggers write about anything and everything vegan. You don’t have to be a vegan but vegan content only. Some bloggers write recipes. Some choose to write personal posts about their journey. Some do etsy product reviews. Some of us choose to make up themes to help us better plan the month. I’m doing the Baby Bump Craving theme because I’m preggo and it works for me. Throughout the month there are also contests and others challenges. Basically just blog vegan.

I like to use the month to explore other blogs on the feed and each day the MoFo headquarters will post interesting posts from the day.

Just know therw is no pressure.

  3. I signed up a few days ago and my theme isn’t there – Brought to you by the letter S – smoky, speedy, sticky and so on (hmmm maybe the theme was just too long!!!!!!!) Hope you got my sign up?

  4. I have a question.
I (and my family also) am totally vegan since 1 year or 2. We were vegetarian before that. Older posts on my blog are vegetarian but not vegan. Can I still participate in vhe Veganmofo if the blog is not entirely vegan?
