  1. I love working up a good sweat on the stairclimber followed by some free weights bright and early every morning to start the day out right.

  2. I love doing group workouts and riding my bike! Group workouts are so much better because you’re able to keep each other motivated!

  3. Awesome giveaway! I’ve been reading the praises of Vega forever, but can’t afford to experiment with it on my own. I would be all over the vanilla or natural.

OK. Focus on the question. Workouts. I love long power walks, biking, yoga and body weight training for strength.

  4. The best workouts are often the easiest — walking to and from campus, walking around my neighborhood, etc. Plus walking always reminds me why I follow my vegetarian diet in the first place — for the animals, for the environment, and for nature!

  5. My favorite workout is roller derby practice! Love to skate my little tush off and get out all the pent-up frustrations from the week! Yoga on skates is also a fave workout:)

  6. Swimming has been my top choice workout for years, but I also love kickboxing classes and yoga for stress relief.

  7. I’ve been into yoga for more than a year now. I’ve gotten my ten year old son doing it now. My husband, who is an avid golfer, asked me last night to show him some flows to help his lower back. Yoga is GREAT!

  8. My favorite way to workout is to chase my son around…. that counts right? Actually when I did work out regularly, I loved the eliptical. Now, my favorite way is taking walks around the ‘hood.

  9. I mostly run for exercise, but when I can find the time and money to go to hot yoga, I prefer that. I’ve LOVED every hot yoga session I’ve ever attended.

  10. I’ve started taking trapeze classes, which have been a wonderful workout for the much neglected upper body – I’ve gained a lot of core strength also. Plus, it’s a LOT of fun! I complement this with yoga, hiking, and biking.

  11. My fave workout is running! I’d love the opportunity to try this. I’ve been sampling various protein/nutrition shakes from a local health food store and so far they are all ick.

  12. My favorite way to work out is to run out back with my dog! Every day for twenty minutes! Then we put the leash on and go for a walk around the neighborhood.

  13. I trail run early in the mornings under a canopy of maple and pin oaks. 3-5 mi weekdays, and 10-20 on weekends. Vega Vanilla Protein is the best for recovery!

  14. I have been DYING to try the French Vanilla Vega One! I would be so excited to win!

My favorite way to workout is yoga! It helps to center me, let go of stress and any craziness from my day and just focus on what’s really important and at the same time, provides awesome physical benefits! <3

  15. My favorite way to workout is the woods behind my neighborhood. The seasons are always changing and there is always something new to look at. I have seen deer, beautiful fall leaves, families enjoying each other, a falcon etc. This said, in the winter when the trails are covered in snow I am boring and just treadmill at home. =) Thanks for the fun give a way. I have yet to find a vegan protein shake I like. The last one I tried had funky chunks..eww.

  16. My favorite workout is a run! I’m doing the Monster Dash 10-mile run on Saturday and I’m totally nervous and ready at the same time 😉 And I love me some Vega One–I keep it at the office for days when I either don’t have time to make my salad, or else get a sudden attack of the afternoon hungries.

  17. Thanks for doing this! The best workouts for me are those that don’t feel like workouts – like dancing (so you’re interacting with other people and having fun) or hiking in beautiful Nature or a great boxing class with pumped up music and a great instructor (you’re so high and in the moment you don’t realize you’re sweating and about to collapse from the exertion ;). Have a great day 🙂

  18. I’m addicted to swimming, but I have to admit that I actually like strength training, too. It always makes me feel strong… Grrrr! Arrgh!

  19. Working out in my living room to Shaun T of Insanity fame or Chalene Johnson TurboFiring me up gets me ready for a post-workout shake!

  20. Walking (hoping to lead to running), riding my bicycle and roller skating! Also just signed up for yoga classes. I sure could use a great nutritional drink to help me out! 😉

  21. I love to go for walks/jogs with my dog. When we have some extra time, I like to go on the trails to the top of the National Monument by our house. It is like climbing 100+ flights of stairs!

  22. I love running, especially when the weather gets cool. I haven’t tried the Vega One and would love the opportunity to do so! I would definitely go for the vanilla, sounds yummy!! 🙂

  23. I love to start the day with my yoga practice. Getting back into it after so many years of being inactive I find it’s hard to find a supplement that’s nutritious and vegan friendly. I’m also a certified massage therapist so its important to get that extra boost for the day after working on 4-5 clients.

  24. I am currently training for a marathon, and bike everywhere.. but on my cross days I am planning on trying out the Insanity workout (wish me luck)!

  25. Well, I guess my favorite way to workout is walking the dogs ’cause that’s currently all the working out I do! ; ) Mmm! I’ve heard SO MANY great things about Vega, but I haven’t been able to pony up the cash to buy it yet.
    michellecrisp25@yahoo.com

  26. I switch off between Billy Blank’s Tae-bo Bootcamp and Winsor Pilates videos every other day. Today will be Tae-bo! I do Tae-bo 3 days a week and pilates twice a week. The weekends are left for resting. Right now I am using Slim Fast’s High Protein drink mix and would really like to try Vega! I SO hope I win one! 🙂

  27. I love to ride bicycles with my family. We get some great quality time and do something great for our bodies too!

  28. My favorite work out is what I call the anti-tri-trifecta: Hot Yoga-Run-Surf. Perfect rising action, plateau and then cool down :).

  29. 5 mile run outdoors in AM(before my Vega)
    WORK
    PM Workout
    200 Meter Row
    1 mile run
    20 air squts
    10 Pushup Burpees Repeat X3
    2000 meter row for cooldown

  30. Walking, walking, and walking. Sometimes I will hit some free weights for upper body, but that’s more an issue of time than desire.

  31. Anything with wheels!
Home built longboard, Vintage Bridgestone MTB, Vintage BADD Racing BMX cruiser.
    I’m vintage!
Gotta keep moving, or I won’t!

  32. A good brisk walk or running is still my favorite, along with some yoga throughout the week. Love me some Vega too! It’s such a great workout tool, before and after!

  33. I love to get moving with High Intensity Interval Training and The Smarter Science of Slim Eccentric exercises. They are high impact but don’t demand hours of my day!

  34. I love to run with my adorable pup, Zelda! She reminds me to enjoy the sights (and smells, for her) in addition to getting a good morning jog.

  35. favorite workout is making babies, then giving birth and nursing those babies until they are done! ( i have 9 kids btw) and wearing those babies in a wrap. exhausting! But so worth it ?

  36. I love working out with a friend, brings out my competitive side. the whole time I’m just trying to be stronger and better!

  37. I drink a Vega shake every morning to get me going! I love working out after a full day at the office. I prefer to mix up my workouts throughout the week to get optimal results. I enjoy going for long solo runs, partnering with friends on Tuesday’s for a group spin session at LA Fitness and winding down with a hot Bikram session. I also enjoy participating in races, last night I ran in an evening 5K Ghosts N Goblins race, it’s nice to try new things while giving back to a good cause!

  38. My favorite way to workout is to put my 2 1/2 year old and 6 month old in the jogging stroller and head into the hills. We get fresh air, commune with nature and wild life, and it tones my tush.

  39. Since injuring my knee, swimming has become my main source of exercise. My normal vibe is longboarding around Venice Beach and Santa Monica. I skate goofy and it’s my left knee that’s tweaked right now. But I’m diggin the pool. Once my knee heals I’ll be back on my board and still swimming. My fave vega is Vanilla Chai pumped up with some chia seeds. That’s peace.

  40. 30 minute HIIT and boot camps! I love that I get the same (if not better ) results than in the gym, and 30 minutes is WAAAYYY more manageable a time than say an hour or an hour and a half!

  41. My favorite way to work out is to hike! Love being outside one with nature… And hikers are so friendly! Always a great pick me up! Also love crossfit!

  42. My best days are when I go on long runs on mountain trails. It’s the best kind of workout there is for your body, mind and spirit.

  43. Mat pilates is my favorite group workout; elliptical my favorite in the gym cardio. I’m about to re-hit the gym after a long absence and Vega would be a great way to keep me fueled!

  44. I’m all about running. It’s the best feeling when you get into the zone thinking through your day/problems/goals and completely forget you’re even moving your legs. I also bike everywhere, but that never feels like exercise.

  45. Swimming! Any weather, any time of day. I also like kickboxing but swimming’s much easier on my old bones.

  46. There is no favourite way for me to work out. I play it by ear each day. Some days it’s Crossfit. Somedays it’s sport specfic training for soccer, rugby, hockey. Somedays I just want to lift weights in the gym all day or on occasion (rarely haha) go for a long run.

  47. I’m currently taking up cycling, with hopes of completing a 940k/7 day ride next summer.
My recent workouts involve alot of time on the bike !

  48. I love doing High Intensity Interval training! I also like weightlifting. It makes me feel powerful! 🙂

  49. I am an avid lover of the Elliptical! Its easy on the joints and fun to see how fast I can go without falling off the machine!:)

  50. My favorite workout is going to the nature preserve across from my house and chasing my 3 dogs around; with the mountains in the distance, it is just beautiful during sunrise:)

  51. I have a lot of different favorite ways to workout, so it’s hard to give just one. Right now I’ve been having fun with Daily Burn exercise videos at home, as my time has been limited (and when I do exercise videos, I have an extreme preference for cardio kickboxing, gets all the stress out!) When I get more time and the weather is good I love to go hiking and play tennis. I also really enjoy running to the point where I probably should list that as my favorite, but I haven’t been doing it as much lately. Ask me again in a month or two and I’ll probably say running first.

Vega is my favorite post-workout drink, but it’s way too expensive, so I could really use a free tub of it :o)

  52. I like to do my basic weight training followed by some intense cardio. Recently, I’ve been playing racquetball!

  53. My favorite way to workout is anything I can do with my daughter. Mostly we walk/fun or hike. Love that we can do it together!!!

  55. I love doing full body weight training 3 days a week, as well as, running 3 days a week. I also love a doing one or two stretching routines or yoga classes to stay relaxed and flexible.

  56. I love to do high intensity interval training, and body workouts, paired with a delicious yoga session to make me feel relaxed and centered. I try to get upbefore the kiddo and hubby to have some me time, and get my sweat on!

  57. My favorite way to break a sweat is with my Just Dance games on my XBox Kinect. I recently upgraded from the Wii and I LOVE not having to hold onto a controller.

  58. I do a lot of different workouts but it’s easy to choose my favorites! I teach a dance class 4x a week, and I actually love every minute of it! The preparatory stuff I do choreographing at home is the other best workout of the week. Other than that, playing hackeysack with the kids at the centre (you won’t believe how tiring this can get! My cross-training has nothing on this!), and frisbee with my co-worker’s dog!

  59. My favorite workout is my 4x a week roller derby workout! There is nothing like it and it keeps me leaner than other workout combo I’ve used over the years. Plus it’s super fun.

  60. My favorite workout is my 4x a week roller derby workout! There is nothing like it and it keeps me leaner than other workout combo I’ve used over the years. Plus it’s super fun.

  61. My favorite way to work out is walking my dogs. Although half the time they pull me around. I also love doing pilates/ yoga when the exercises are on netflix because it makes me stretch and exercise which feels great since I don’t have very good posture when doing my art…

  62. Self-motivation is really hard for me, so I’ve been meeting up with a co-worker before work and we either go running, stair climbing, or just recently we signed up for a group boot camp! There’s nothing like group support to kick your butt!

  63. Early morning yoga helps me feel centered for the rest of the day. Arm maneuvering for those hard-to-reach-vegan-goods at grocery stores. Hiking on days off with friends & then rewarding ourselves with tofu scrambles & mimosas. Walking the cats once a week (yeah I’m THAT girl).

  64. My favorite workout is my hour long bootcamp followed by yin yoga and a half hour of meditation. Walking the dog rocks too!

  65. I never thought I’d be into Vega, but I tried some at a friend’s house and actually really loved it. I am currently particularly stoked on weight training and running (outdoors!).

  66. Running! Just ran my first marathon and now doing the Insanity DVD which is super intense. On day 3 and 57 more to go. Would love to have this to fuel my body after my hard workouts! Went vegan in June cold turkey from a full on meat eating diet. Inspired by Brendan Brazier and Scott Jurek; I knew that I would be able to get what my body needed from a vegan diet! Never have been happier/ healthier in my life! Pick me! Pick me!

  67. Favorite workout is roller skating! Nothing like some groovy tunes at the roller rink and dusting off my skates!

  68. My favorite way to workout is yoga and pilates, but the thing I do most often is play soccer with my kids! Which basically means my 13 year old takes it easy on me so he doesn’t kill me and I get shown up by my 4 year old. Good times.

I’ve always wanted to try Vega and just haven’t gotten around to ordering it!

  69. I LOVE doing a bodypump (barbell) class at my gym! Great way to gain strength and confidence without even feeling like your working out! You have fun with your friends and enjoy the music UNTIL the next day when you wake up a bit soar and realize it was a GREAT workout!

  72. I love running. Really love running. After a handful of marathons, I have two 50k’s under my belt, with another coming up in about a month. The 20 mile training runs are a blast with my running partner.

I also just got into Vega– I’m using the recovery mix regularly, and I want to try more. Brendan Brazier is awesome.

  73. I have many favourites but my all time favourite is definitely tabata training! What is better than giving it your all for 20 secs then resting for 10 secs … you do it again and again till you drop!

  74. I like to switch up my workout routines – running, yoga, weights, the Insanity videos, swimming… I get bored easily 🙂

  75. My favorite way to work out is doing CrossFit! I love Olympic lifting and being stronger than a good portion of the meat-eaters out there. I’m on a mission to prove that you don’t need massive amounts of protein or dairy to be strong. :).

  76. either step class (i know, how 80’s of me- but NO leg warmers!) or a program on the elliptical just short of a code blue. much better.
my other workout? a long, lovely, time suspending N_A_P.

  77. My daily work out is 12 + hours a day working as a family doc. I am vegan and this often results in skipped meals. I would love to try this!!!!!

  78. Six months ago, on my way home from work, I began to feel lightheaded and dizzy with a sharp pain in my side. Years of sitting in front of a computer all day, general inactivity and a carb-heavy veg diet had finally caught up with me and I realized I needed to make a change. I completely revamped my diet focusing on homecooked unprocessed foods and balanced meals. I dragged myself to the gym at 6am a few days a week – starting first with uphill walks on the treadmill progressing steadily through ashtanga yoga, group exercise classes and long-distance running. I’m happy to report I’ve lost 20lbs and feel better than I have ever felt before. My favourite workout today is a 60 minute run on the treadmill – it’s the perfect opportunity to tune out the world and clear my mind. It also makes me appreciate how far I’ve come from that day six months ago when I could barely walk home from work. We all have the power to change anything in our lives!

  79. When I belong to a gym, my favorite class is Body Combat (gotta get the aggression out in positive ways). These days I’m saving money on gym memberships and going for long walks with my kids.

  80. My favorite way to workout is in a group at either boxing classes or athletic conditioning classes. Both are well-rounded workouts and every day is something different! It’s always good to switch things up on your body!

  81. Running and hot yoga are my favorite workouts, but I am open to anything that works up a good sweat! I’ve wanted to try Vega for a while, too.

  92. I work out by weight training, riding my bike and using my rowing machine. EVERY day. And I always have a tasty Vega shake following. 🙂

  93. Turbofire is my go-to home workout right now 5-6 days/week with Ab Ripper X (from P90X) 3x/week. I also chase my 3.5 year old up and down our stairs multiple times everyday, often carrying my 18lb 6 month old baby. Courtney
