Week 3 Roundup!

Week 3 Roundup!

Three weeks of VeganMoFo 2019 down, and we’ve been seeing some really tasty food. This week was Seasons Week for those following the themes – which meant we got to see food that’ll keep us going all year round. Here’s some highlights!

Day 17: Winter Warmer

Coastal Vegan

Hot chocolate is the perfect warming winter drink! Hot and strong, it’ll warm you to the core!

@idunsyn

Mmm, pasta e ceci – this hearty winter pasta comes with a lovely story behind it, check out Angela’s instagram post for more!

Day 18: Summer Cooler

Amber Eats Veg

What do you eat to keep cool in summer? Amber made a tasty looking tomato and basil salad with homemade vegan feta!

Gonna Go Walk the Dogs

On a hot summer day, a nice cooling drink is perfect…and this fruit packed sangria would definitely hit the spot!

Day 19: Fall Colours

Vegans Need Sauce

Check out the colours of this borscht in progress! Aren’t they beautiful? For the finished product, check out Emily’s blog!

Just Bloggs Vegan

Have you ever heard of the spice ras-el-hanout? Yes, but do you know what it means? Find out, and find the recipe for this tagine on the blog above!

Day 20: Spring Salad

Recipes for Self Care

Ooh how good does this salad look? These are carrot bhaji – the recipe is in the post – and they look to go perfectly in a nice salad!

Long Island Vegan

Just look at this amazing bowl! Filled with a homemade blondie (you can click through to find the recipe!), ice cream, and sprinkles!

Day 21: Picnic!

One Raw Bite

Jennifer’s continuing her CSA theme by making this eggplant curry – and doesn’t it look lovely?

Food for Dissertating

What’s a picnic without some pasta salad? This is a vegan pepperoni pasta salad and you can find the recipe on the blog link above!

Day 22: Seasonal Dish

Vegan Ha Ha

This delicious looking summer dish uses fresh broad beans and crispy radishes to make crostini. Perfect for a summer lunch!

Go Vegga

Here we have a recreation of Isa’s Chickpea Cutlets -but made with canellini beans instead of chickpeas. The recipe is so versatile, and it sounds like these work wonderfully!

Day 23: Seasonal Celebration

Kittens Gone Lentil

It may be really trendy right now – but who can resist a latte that looks this pretty? Unicorn latte – not, assuredly, made with unicorns!

@trimazingvlc

This is apparently “Raspberry Applesauce Marshmallow Fluff salad”, if you can believe this is a salad, but it definitely looks tasty!
