All-Night PB Party Giveaway Starring Peanut Butter & Co!

Update! We have our winners. Alyssa, who said “”I would definitely have to go with Dark Chocolate Dreams and strawberry preserves. I haven’t actually tried that yet because I’m most likely to just eat the chocolate stuff straight out of the jar, but now that I’ve thought of it I need to make it.”

And Lisa H. who said “I’m so in love with Dark Chocolate Dreams. It’s my ultimate guilty pleasure. As for a jelly, it’s raspberry or nothing.”

Looks like Dark Chocolate Dreams is the most popular with everyone! We’ll contact the winners with details. Thanks to everyone for playing!

Peanut butter! Is there anyone who doesn’t love it? I mean, besides the severely allergic.

I remember heading through the West Village on my way to somewhere or other about a million years ago and stumbling across a huge sign that said “Peanut Butter & Co.” Who wouldn’t sidestep their destination and check that out? Inside were tables and tables of grown people eating peanut butter sandwiches! So basically I am describing paradise. I had myself a pressed PB & banana that I remember to this day.

Peanut Butter & Co. has come along way since my inaugural PB&B sandwich. You can pick up luscious flavors such as Dark Chocolate Dreams and White Chocolate wonderful. Or go for autumn combinations like Cinnamon Raisin Swirl or Mighty Maple.

We’re calling tonight VeganMoFo’s All-Night PB Party! Peanut Butter & Co. is giving away two jars of peanut butter to two lucky winners. Any kind you like!

To enter the contest, just visit Peanut Butter & Company’s peanut butter page and pick your favorite variety*, then tell us what kind of jelly you’d pair it with in a sandwich. Simple!

Winners must be US only to win (sorry rest of the world!) and supply a valid email address. We’ll choose two winners randomly on Wednesday morning. Good luck!

*The only non-vegan one is the Bee’s Knees, everything else is vegan! So as usual, please keep it vegan for VeganMoFo, gracias!

  1. My favourite is definitely White Chocolate Wonderful! So good. I don’t usually pair it with jelly but I like to eat it on a sandwich with bananas!

  2. I’m a traditionalist when it comes to peanut butter, so I’d go with the Old Fashioned Crunchy and pair it with some homemade strawberry-balsamic jam. On a tortilla that I would then grill like a tasty pb&j-a-dilla.

  3. am i the first to comment!? huzzah!
i would choose dark chocolate dreams. toss it in a panini press with some good bread and chocolate chips. or mighty maple with a shmear of pumpkin butter.
    yep. i’m drooling.

  4. My favorite flavor is the White Chocolate Wonderful. I haven’t tried the Mighty Maple, but that sounds really good too. And if you can believe it… I don’t like jelly. I’m just weird like that. I like PB&J sandwiches, minus the “J”. 🙂

  5. since its the fall season, i love their mighty maple pb and strawberry jelly in my stuff french toast!
for savory, i pair it w/ homemade roasted pumpkin in my sammie. yumy!

  6. I would definitely choose the cinnamon raisin swirl. But I don’t like jelly (no sweet tooth, sorry). I love pairing peanut butter with vegan cream cheese!

  7. I would get The Heat is on or Old Fashioned Smooth and then pair it with a balsamic berry spread that I make

  8. I love their cinnamon raisin swirl. This may not be very avant garde, but it is so very delicious with an organic apple butter. Use lightly grilled or toasted bread (I like something hearty, like a 9-grain or an oatmeal) and it tastes more like a naughty treat than than a nutritious meal! Yum!

  9. Well I’ve only ever tried Dark Chocolate Dreams, but after looking through all of their varieties, I’m really intrigued by The Heat is On. Maybe even try pairing it with pepper jelly? Might as well go all out!

  10. I am a old fashion girl… so I would go with the Old Fashion Smooth with a banana…sorry not a fan of jam

  11. I sorta want to try Dark Chocolate Dreams with pepper jelly – you know, for that spicy chocolate effect – but maybe that’s too strange. I’d definitely have raspberry jam on stand-by.

  12. I would definitely have to go with Dark Chocolate Dreams and strawberry preserves. I haven’t actually tried that yet because I’m most likely to just eat the chocolate stuff straight out of the jar, but now that I’ve thought of it I need to make it.

  13. white chocolate with strawberry jam on vegan whole wheat toast with cup of coffee made from dunkin donuts whole beans ground fresh , highly addictive 😉

  14. It would have to be Dark Chocolate Dreams. And I’m thinking either apricot or peach preserves. Mmmmmmm … 😉

  15. I’m going with Mighty Maple and I’m going to pair it with the Fall Harvest Fruit Butter from The Vegan Slow Cooker because it sounds like it will all be a wonderful delight for the taste buds or a terrifically terrible miscalculation. Either way, you’ve got to be in it to win it.

  16. Hmmm. Mighty Maple with apple butter seems like the perfect fall combo to me. But…I have been curious about The Heat is on. I bet that would be awesome with some strawberry jam.

  17. Dark chocolate dreams on sprouted wheat bread lightly toasted. First all by itself then second sandwich with strawberry jam.

  18. My favorite is Cinnamon Raisin Swirl. Try it sandwiched between vegan gingersnaps (Food Lion makes some) with vegan marshmallow creme (try Suzanne’s Ricemallow creme).

  19. MMMmmm, the Dark Chocolate Dreams would go so well with some Not-Tella! Ok, so maybe that’s going too far. Instead, how about raspberry jam sandwiched in chocolate cake. …What?

  20. I have the heat is on in my cupboard at home and can’t wait to try it! Perhaps with yogurt cheese to balance the heat?
(ps: I’m abroad in London but I live in the US and will be home for Christmas, I think this qualifies me?)

  21. I’m late in the running and so many yummy combos have already been posted but this contest is the Best! So here goes:
The cinnamon raisin swirl sounds so incredibly amazing and I really want to have some…there’s no doubt I would adore it! Living in apple country of upstate NY, I can feel the taste of the PB coupled with the awesome apple caramel preserves my friend makes and cans each year…
It would be so awesome to win and share with family and friends!
    Thank you.

  22. I am a purist. Old Fashioned Smooth with grape jelly on white bread….please!

(Dark Chocolate Dreams sounds pretty yummy, too!)

    Thanks for the giveaway. 🙂

  23. I LOVE CLASSIC NATURAL PEANUT BUTTER- I eat a juicy fresh apple every day with peanut butter! I can’t help going for the Old-Fashioned Smooth kind- it makes a perfect PB&J when I crave it!! My heavenly PB&J would use your Old-Fashioned Smooth on toasted whole grain with seeds bread!! Then comes the fruity part- Crofter’s Organic Superfruit spread: All organic ingredients of red grapes, morello cherries, acai berries and pomegranate! When peanut butter sandwiches are TOO SUGARY, I get a little sad because I miss the soul-soothing satisfaction of a real peanut butter and jelly! THIS peanut butter sandwich tastes as real to me as can be! I get my protein and nutty taste with grains and fruit! PLUS, I like to dip the crunchy (or untoasted) sandwich in a glass of almond milk! : )

  24. I’m dying to try The Heat Is On! (it’s the only variety the stores around here DON’T carry)…and I’d probably have it with good ol’ raspberry jam. Yumm….

  25. I’m gonna go with Dark Chocolate Dreams, paired with St. Dalfour Black Cherry fruit spread. On graham crackers. Oh yes.

  26. Hands down I’d have to go with The Heat is On and I’d pair it with a mango jam. I absolutely love anything spicy and mango is a great complement to hot flavors!

  27. I’m so in love with Dark Chocolate Dreams. It’s my ultimate guilty pleasure. As for a jelly, it’s raspberry or nothing.

  28. I would love to try the White Chocolate Wonderful with Cherry fruit preserves! It was a tough choice between that and the Dark Chocolate Dreams with Black Raspberry, but I have to go with the white chocolate and cherry combination!

  29. It’s a hard pick, but I think White Chocolate Wonderful because it’s really hard to find anything white chocolate without soy in it and here it is! No jelly. Possibly not even bread. Just the jar and a spoon.

  30. I would choose “The Heat is On” because I LOVE spicy food! I probably would enjoy it plain unless I had some homemade pepper jelly from the farmers market. Yum!

  31. How did I never think of pairing pb & maple? That one with chopped pecans, and dark chocolate with shredded coconut, both on sourdough toast. With a big glass of soy milk.

  32. i’ve always wanted to try white chocolate wonderful. & who needs jam? i’ll eat it with a spoon. if i have to pick one though, i’ll go with crofter’s four fruit spread since that’s my fave.

  33. My fave is dark chocolate! What kind of jelly goes with that? I normally just eat it out the jar, but for the sake of the contest I’ll say strawberry.

  34. Ooh, I had the white chocolate wonderful once, and it was *amazing*. I think I’d like to try the Bee’s Knees with blueberry jam. Yum!

  35. My kids love the white chocolate with pomegranate jelly, but most of the time they eat it smeared on a cut banana with raisins on top. They get this brand like once a year since I usually buy unsweetened just nuts no salt nut butters. They would loooovvvveee to win this one!

  36. I have never tried The Heat Is On. I think I need to! I will have to sample it before I can say for sure what I would do with it. I’m not a fan of jelly, though, so that won’t be what I do!

  37. Might Maple! For. Sure. As it is I pour maple syrup in my regular peanut butter…someone stop me! I’d put it with fresh banana, probably not jam – but raspberry if I had to pick one.

  38. I have to admit, I don’t actually love peanut butter! Despite not being allergic!

But the dark chocolate looks very enticing. Maybe dark chocolate & black cherry preserves? Mmmmm.

  39. The heat is on with pineapple preserves. Maybe with some toasted coconut and a little curry powder sprinkled inside.

  40. I’d go for a Black Forest theme and pair Dark Chocolate Dreams with some cherry jam on some dark brown bread – maybe even pumpernickel!

  41. “Old Fashioned Crunchy” and “The Heat is On” are my favorites. I also love that Peanut Butter & Co. have been big supporters of women’s cycling!

  42. Um hello, dark chocolate, forever. Will it taste like a peanut butter cup, because it’s peanut butter and chocolate? I don’t know…but that won’t prevent me from slathering it on an actual peanut butter cup for extra amazingness.

  43. So this was posted on the 12th and then winners were chosen on the morning of the 12th? That seems weird.

I never win anything, but I would have loved to at least have had a chance to enter this one.
