Happy Wednesday everyone! Panda here. We have a great giveaway today. The vegan jewelry shop Art By Susmitha is offering a lovely vegan superstar unisex pendant for 1 lucky winner.
The pendant is a 1.25 inch copper disc with a hammered texture and stamped with the word vegan. A smaller brass star is attached with a stamped letter v. It’s been fired to give a patina that shows off the hammer marks and makes the letters pop. It’s a perfect way to make a subtle vegan statement and start a conversation about your veganism. It would also make a wonderful gift for the proud vegan in your life.
Susmitha has a number of hammered and stamped metal pendants, necklaces, and earrings in her shop, along with some polymer clay creations like the strawberry gateaux earrings pictured below. She will be doing a local giveaway on her own blog, Veganosaurus, so watch her sites for updates on that later this month!

It’s difficult to pick just one type of cake. I love any cake that is vegan and involves chocolate. Layered chocolate cake, with raspberry filling, and white frosting. A friend once made a TARDIS cake for my husbands birthday that was chocolate, it was amazing!
Oh it has to be Parsnip Cake, I love it more than vegan Carrot Cake.
Red Velvet. ALWAYS Red Velvet! In face, I love Red Velvet so much that I have a Red Velvet juice recipe coming up the month!
I love raw cakes – they are sweet, delicious and healthy! My favorite is carrot cake with cashew frosting.
Belgian chocolate cake, the darker and denser the better. Lemon poppy seed or pumpkin carrot cake are good, too.
Oooh cool! I’m a vanilla cake girl with pink vanilla frosting. I’ll always pick that over anything else.

Best vegan cake is peanut butter + chocolate. I don’t care in what form, just as long as it contains both peanut butter… and chocolate. 😀
My favorite vegan cake is German Chocolate (YUM!), or any chocolate cake with coconut.
i love cake! but i would have to say my favorite types of cakes are crumb cakes. with any seasonal fruit between the cake part & the crumb part, you can’t really go wrong!
What a beautiful pendant! My favorite vegan cake is my Carrot Walnut Cake with Maple Cream Cheese Frosting. It’s vegan and gluten-free!
Pick one kind of cake….help! If I had to choose it would be one that a local vegan cashew nut cheese artisan makes: chocolate cake with a peanut butter cheesecake frosting, chocolate shell smothered in chocolate chip cookies. I’m pregnant…give me a break

Oh! And my favorite kind of cake is german chocolate cake. I made one for my husband’s birthday last year; I was so excited to find both an awesome vegan chocolate cake recipe and an awesome vegan german icing recipe!

That pendant is stunning! I love lemon cake, but especially the lemon and blueberry cake from Ms Cupcake’s recipe book. Yum!
Chocolate, so much chocolate. The darker, the richer the better. I like chocolate sponge, rich silky ganache, sweet creamy chocolate frosting. Chocolate. The combination of chocolate and vegan cheese is also a winner, so chocolate cheesecake is high up there too.
I looove chocolate cake with ganache frosting and strawberries, peaches or any fruit. I´m a cake girl and I love those earrings, really!!
Lemon cakes are the best cakes in the world. Citrus cake makes the world go round!

My favorite cake is a moist decadent droolworthy carrot cake. It’s sweet, textural, and simply amazing. Especially filled with soft carrots, plump, juicy raisins, and spicy flare topped with a rich, creamy, irresistibly addictive whipped cream cheese frosting.
Brownies. But only if they have extra choc chips in!!!

My favourite vegan cake is a light fluffy Angel Food Cake cut into bite size pieces that are covered in dark chocolate icing and rolled in finely shredded coconut….aka a Lamington (Australian classic)
I’m a boring ‘ol vanilla lover! Vanilla with vanilla frosting, none of that strawberry filling. I also like pumpkin cake….has anybody tried? Has anybody else LOVED?
Well, I like just about any cake that is vegan, especially if it has frosting. Chocolate cake with mocha frosting is my favorite combination.

I’m not much of a sweets person and have never been one for cakes, but I do love a good zucchini cake with a light glaze instead of a heavy frosting.
I can’t pick just one. I love them all! Chocolate cake, carrot cake, red velvet cake, Italian cream cake, cake cake cake. I *love* cake! And those earrings are adorable. Love the fabulous necklace too!
ANY cake that a NON VEGAN friend or family member has gone to the effort to make for me. Those cakes are made with Love and thought, and they taste extra yum!

Hands down, red velvet with a vegan cream cheese frosting. A classic! If I went another route I do also like making chocolate cupcakes with a Biscoff buttercream 😉
How can I pick a favorite cake?! Haha but if I had to choose one, it would be the cookies and cream cake I make using the basic chocolate cupcake recipe from Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World, into which I stir chopped up Oreos. It’s out of this world.

Carrot cake with a not-too-sweet cream cheese frosting. I like heartier cakes with lots of goodness inside, like walnuts, shredded coconut, and raisins.

A two layer white cake with almond butter in the middle and almond icing all over. Top with honey roasted slivered almonds.
