Giveaway – Ten Acre Crisps

Giveaway – Ten Acre Crisps

This giveaway is now closed. Congrat’s Abi!

Ten Acre are a relatively new brand on the UK vegan scene but they’ve appeared with a bang thanks to their amazing The Story of When the Cheese Met the Onion flavour. Vegan cheese and onion crisps are something people have been waiting for for a long time and this companies exciting flavours make me sure they’ll be sticking around for the long haul. If an all vegan crisp company sounds as great to you as it did to me when I first heard about them then you’ll love today’s competition.

Screen Shot 2014-08-12 at 07.50.34Ten Acre will be sending one lucky winner a months supply of crisps (that’s 32 packs) in a super cute picnic hamper. Flavours range from When Hickory Got BBQ’d to The Secret of Mr Salt bypassing my favourite The Day Sweet and Sour Became Friends. This is a competition worth getting excited about!

To be in with a chance of winning this bumper prize just let me know what your absolute favourite crisp flavour is by 8pm GMT tomorrow. Please be sure to leave a valid contact e-mail address so that we can contact you if you win. The winner will be randomly selected and announced after the giveaway has ended. This competition is open to residents of the UK and ROI only.

  1. I love these crisps so much! I’m still waiting for them to arrive in shops in Edinburgh. What a fantastic giveaway 🙂

My favourite crisp flavour is a little boring (salt and vinegar) but I also love the Ten Acre cheese and onion flavour.

  2. The Cheese & Onion ones of these are absolute heaven. I’m also partial to a Nice and Spicy Nik Nak and Walkers Pickled Onion 🙂

  3. I love Ten Acre When Cheese Met Onion I miss cheese & onion crisps since I went vegan 5 years ago. Most crisps aren’t vegan & many new flavours crisp companies like Walkers bring out aren’t vegan as they have milk in them :-[

  4. Oh my, these crisps have the most wonderful names! I love how they all have little stories!

My favourite crisps are salt and vinegar, I think. It really sucks how so many crisps have milk in them now!

  5. Sour cream and dill. I don’t suppose there’s a vegan version of that one…but I’d gladly take cheese & onion as a consolation prize. 🙂

  6. The Story Of When The Cheese Met The Onion would go down VERY well in my house full of vegans/vegetarians/gluten free family !!!

  7. I’m not entering as I’m not in the UK, but those names are adorable! They sound delicious. Maybe one day, the UK will share them with us in the US 🙂

  8. I sooooo wanna try these crisps. Just cant work out which shops sell them. My fav flavour is probs salt and vinegar. Or whichever flavour enhances your ability to cross your fingers hoping you win this!

  9. Can when the cheese met the onion be any more romantic? It was certainly love at first sight, and my favourite flavour.

  10. True to my Irishness, it has to be cheese and onion all the way! The bummer about being vegan is the lack of choice in cheese and onion crisps.

  11. I really like the Funky Fusion that Dirty chips makes. But then Earth Balance came out with the sour cream and onion chips. Now I can’t decide!

  12. Ooh I love love love chicken flavoured crisps! Sounds weird but I used to put them in cheese sandwiches when I was a kid and would love to do that again!!!

  13. I’m a Cheese n Onion fan – although I sometimes fancy a Prawn Cocktail, Pickled Onion, or Chilli Chicken flavour crisp x

  14. Zomg what an amazing prize! I LOVE crisps. Too much. I’d say cheese and onion but I haven’t had any in years because of the vegan thang. Last year I discovered peanut butter puffs which are like wotsits in texture but peanut in flavour and they are amazeballs. But my fave at the moment is chilli and lime…..hom nom nom.

  15. I am a plain crisps and vanilla ice cream kinda person. Not together. I’m just not that wacky.

So I would say sea salt 🙂 Yummmmyy

  16. Not had a chance to try these babies yet, but really looking forward to the hamper you’ll send to me 🙂

My favourite crisp flavour currently has to be cracked black pepper.

  17. It’s got to be plain salted (The Secret Of Mr Salt!) as they are perfect to eat on their own or with other things (on top of a casserole/pasta bake is always good… Or dipped in chocolate if you’re brave!) xxx

  18. Hmmmmm has to has to be Sweet & Sour no similar crisps flavour on the market… Walkers who? 😉
Ps your gibratlar stint was great we loved it!

  19. They no longer exist, but a long while ago there was a Salsa and Mesquite flavour crisps and I loved it, pretty much addicted to it. Miss them 🙁 But if it was 10 Acre crisps then it would have to be Hickory BBQ.

  20. Call me silly, but I have long been a fan of ready salted crisps! They are seriously my favourite flavour, although if there were a scotch bonnet (or other chili-)flavoured one, that would be my favourite. Anything with a kick!

  21. I usually go for salt & vinegar but when I get pickled onion puffed maize snacks (such as Space Raiders) I gobble them down. The texture is an important part of it though- for normal shaped potato crisps salt & vinegar is better.
